We offer off-piste guiding for private groups and individuals at all levels. Mountain Guides Italy works in key areas in the Italian Alps: Passo Tonale and Adamello, Gressoney and Monte Rosa, Courmayeur and Mont Blanc, Sestriere and Limone. We suggest that you wait until last minute to book your accommodation. We will let you know where the best conditions are a week before your reserved dates.
We will find itineraries for every level, also for people who want to try off-piste skiing for the first time. Your Guides will take care of all the safety aspects, give you advice on your technique and tell you about the local environment, history and traditions. Our daily decisions where to find the best skiing for you are based on your level of skiing, the weather, snow conditions and avalanche safety aspects.
We recommend you to book 2 or more days of guiding at the time. We need time to get to know you and let you ski all the fantastic off-piste itineraries that are suitable for your level.
It is for you and your guide to decide the exact makeup of your booking however, these itinerary days shown below are an example of how a booking for this activity could be structured.
Day 1 : Off-piste itineraries
We will spend the day skiing using the lift system introducing you to some of the easy off-piste itineraries and getting to know you.
Day 2 : Off-piste itineraries
Depending on our progress on day 1, we will continue to explore the off-piste itineraries, looking for the best snow and giving you technical and safety hints as we ski.

What's Not Included
You should be able to ski on black runs, on all types of snow. On all our programs snowboarders and telemarkers are welcome.
- Technical equipment (these items can be rented): off-piste skis, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, backpack.
