Full Description
Single-pitch climbing is the perfect situation to learn the basics or improve your rock climbing skills. The areas where we work have dozens of climbing crags with thousands of fantastic bolted routes. For every season and type of weather we will find the perfect location, also according to how many people are in the group. Kids and friends that don't climb, but would like to join you, are more than welcome.
Mountain Guides Italy is specialised in organising custom made rock climbing courses and guided trips for individuals or small groups. In single-pitch climbing we can work with groups from one to five people per Guide. We do not have pre-set dates for our courses or trips because we work around the needs and technical level of our clients.
Our courses are held in the Brenta Dolomites and Adamello ranges: the Dolomites is famous for its "Dolomia" rock that is similar to limestone and the Adamello range is made of superb granite. Learn how to multi-pitch climb limestone and granite, only 1 hour drive apart, is quite an added value. Both areas have lots of routes that are ideal for beginners, intermediate and advanced climbers. We have created a hut to hut rock climbing itinerary where stay in mountain huts (like Rifugio Graffer and Rifugio Tuckett) and spend the days learning to climb. When the weather is not suitable for climbing in the mountains, we have B plans lower down in the valleys (Valle del Sarca or Valle Camonica) where it is possible to climb all year round. The price includes 6 hours of coaching.
We are based in Ponte di Legno (1 hour drive from Madonna di Campiglio in the Brenta Dolomites) and have a cosy b&b in the centre of town. This is the ideal arrival and depature base. It is also the ideal base for day climbing trips to the Granite and Dolomite ranges. We will be happy to create a tailor made climbing trip for you.
