ICE CLIMBING ACTIVITIES
Mountain Guides Italy is based in Ponte di Legno, the perfect location for Winter Ice climbing in the Italian Alps. The area is a paradise for ice climbing with over 50 ice falls, with something for every level, from beginners to experienced climbers. Some of our icefalls are very close to warm cosy Mountain Huts, ideal locations for courses and beginners. Other ice falls take a couple of hours hiking in the snow to get to them. We provide private instruction and guiding at every level: your first moves on ice, how to use ice climbing equipment, multiday climbing trips, your first lead climbs, multi-pitch climbs.
