TRAVELLING TO PONTE DI LEGNO
Ponte di Legno is only two hours from Milan Bergamo airport - there is a direct road into the town from the airport which remains open throughout the year making accessibility so simple.
By Car
If arriving from Milano, Bergamo, Brescia or Verona, take the A4 motorway, exit at Ospitaletto (near Brescia) and take the SS42. Follow signs for Valcamonica and Ponte di Legno (108km from the motorway exit).
If arriving from Venice, Trento or Innsbruck, take the A22 motorway, exit at San Michele A. (near Trento) and take the SS43 then SS42. Follow signs for Val di Sole, Passo Tonale, Ponte di Legno (98km from the motorway exit).
By Train and Bus
There is a regular train service from Brescia to Edolo. From Edolo there is a bus service to Ponte di Legno.
By Plane
The nearest airports are Milan Bergamo (BGY) and Verona (VRN). They are about 2 hours and 2.5 hours respectively by car. Neither airport is connected to the railway network. However, there are regular buses connecting the airport and the main train stations.
