Full Description
Mountain Guides Italy is specialised in organising custom made rock climbing courses and guided trips for individuals or small groups. Sports, trad or a combination. In multi-pitch climbing the Guide can take maximum 2 people; therefore for 3/4 people there will be 2 Guides, for 5/6 people there will be 3 Guides. We do not have pre-set dates for our courses or trips because we work around the needs and technical level of our clients. The price includes 6 hours of coaching/guiding.
Finale and OltreFinale are well know to climbers from all over the World. Climbers come to the Western Ligurian Riviera all year round to climb on the many crags that together make this area one of the richest and most important climbing sites in Europe. With us you can enjoy over 100 multi-pitch routes in this wonderful Mediterranean environment, sports and trad.
The rock at Finale Ligure is a marine limestone and the variety of rock climbing is huge, from slabs, smooth and pocketed vertical walls, to steep imposing overhangs. In OltreFinale (45 minute drive from Finale), we have a great multi-pitch trad location with sandstone rock and cracks galore: Trad Paradise!
The area is very accessible being only a 30 minute drive from Genova airport (or 1 hour by train), 1 hour drive form Nice airport (or 2 hours by train), 2 hours drive from Milan (2,5 hours by train), along with plenty of accommodation that you would normally find in a popular seaside area. Finale Ligure is also a very popular place for hiking and mountain biking.
In Finale ligure we have a cosy Guest House where you can spend several days while climbing in the area.

Vast improvement in my climbing
