Full Description
Single-pitch climbing is the perfect situation to learn the basics or improve your rock climbing skills. For every season and type of weather we will find the perfect location, also according to how many people are in the group or family.
The rock at Finale Ligure is a marine limestone and the variety of rock climbing is huge, from rough slabs, smooth and pocketed vertical walls, to steep imposing overhangs. With around 130 different sectors/crags and over 4000 routes, the grades range from French 3a to 8c+. Over half of those sectors have been bolted in the last 10 years which means new rock, lots of easy routes with friendly grades.
We guide in Finale, Val Pennavaire (also called OltreFinale or Albenga) and Muzzerone. Climbers come to the Ligurian Riviera all year round to climb on the many crags that together make this area one of the richest and most important climbing sites in Europe.
Finale is very accessible being only a 1 hour drive from Genova airport (or 1,5 hour by train), 1,5 hour drive form Nice airport (or 2 hours by train), 2 hours drive from Milan (2,5 hours by train). Finale Ligure is also a very popular place for hiking and mountain biking and enjoying the beach.
In Finale Ligure we have a cozy Guest House where you can spend several days while climbing in the area.

Single-pitch Rock Climbing in Finale Ligure Reviews
Looking forward to next year!
"Cain was a fantastic instructor. He explained everything clearly and thoroughly, talking us through not just how to do, but also why we were doing the exercises. He adjusted the pace of the group to match our needs perfectly. I think my climbing improved greatly this year. I'm already looking forward to next year! "
