Single-pitch Rock Climbing in Finale Ligure

    Full Description

Single-pitch climbing is the perfect situation to learn the basics or improve your rock climbing skills. For every season and type of weather we will find the perfect location, also according to how many people are in the group or family.

The rock at Finale Ligure is a marine limestone and the variety of rock climbing is huge, from slabs, smooth and pocketed vertical walls, to steep imposing overhangs. The routes are mainly single pitch, though there are some bolted routes up to 3 & 4 pitches long. With around 130 different sectors/crags and over 2700 routes, the grades range from F3a to F8c+.

Further along the coast is Capo Noli, which offers climbing some great sea cliff rock climbing that has a totally difference character to that of Finale. Finale is also a very popular place for deep water soloing, hiking and mountain biking.

The area is very accessible being only a 30 minute drive from Genova airport, along with plenty of accommodation that you would normally find in a popular seaside area.

    Looking forward to next year!

"Cain was a fantastic instructor. He explained everything clearly and thoroughly, talking us through not just how to do, but also why we were doing the exercises. He adjusted the pace of the group to match our needs perfectly. I think my climbing improved greatly this year. I'm already looking forward to next year! "
