Full Description
Adamello, the biggest glacier in the Italian Alps. I started promoting this area for ski mountaneering 20 years ago and now it is appreciated by more and more skiers.
Now the time has come to start promoting rock climbing in the beautiful Adamello valleys. The granite is exceptional, imagne the quality of Yosemite rock, in a smaller scale. There are several areas, starting from Passo Tonale right next to our b&b in Ponte di Legno. Val Adamè has 2 mountain huts, Rifugio Lissone 1 hour hike and Baita Adamè 2 hours hike and has fanastic bouldering, and multipitch. Val Salarno also has 2 mountain huts, Rifugio Adamello 30 minute by e-mountain bike and Rifugio Prudenzini 45 minutes by e-mountain bike and has fantasic single pitch and multi-pitch climbing.
